Do you think people for government jobs tell the truth or use countermeasures to beat the polygraph test?
Need opinions, I understand that I want to tell the truth but the truth sometimes can hurt you and your heart will race regardless. Obviously the government is wrong for using the polygraph because its system is flawed and beatable with certain tactics. What do you all think?

- It all depends on the situation... If they have something to hide then yes they will lie. And there are governmental people out there that are trained to pass that thing with flying colors. Even when lying.
- man i got gipped. i didn't get to take a polygraph test. i guess it's not required for all government positions. of course they are beatable and for that reason, there's nothing that should be based purely on the outcome of a polygraph. sadly enough, there are people in this world who would probably fail if they told the truth because lying comes second nature to them.
- I agree with you. But there is no viable alternative for this !!!
