Why do people say corporate jobs are better than government jobs?
Corporations are elitist and extremely picking during the hiring process. They fire hundreds of people every time there's a recession and think nothing of it. You can't advance without some pain in the butt graduate degree. Yes, you can make good money if you defeat the competition and make it up the ladder. The government isn't nearly that bad. I don't understand why people look down on government work and worship corporations.

- Generally corporate jobs pay better than government jobs, but on the last ones usually people don't work on too much pressure. I think it shouldn't be like that because government jobs are directly payed but taxes that come from all of us, from the poorest ones to the richest. I'm in the process to be hired in a state government job and I'm going full motivated to perform great. I'm prepared to give my best, thinking not only in a new burst in my career but working hard and adding something to make better our living as citizens. I want to change my career focus from earning money, to earning money and try to make things better.
- In the present context of corporate world the job is getting overloaded and pressure situations being high and this leads to more stress/tension which in turn has more possibility of hazard health conditions. If we go 10 to 15 years from here the rate of health problems will increase in private sector.
