One for USA government and one for Canada government? If I do have to pay two taxes. What if I go to college in Canada for four years, then find a job in Canada and find an employer who will sponsor me so I can get out of applying two taxes??? Will that work??? Also how do I get accepted into a great college in Canada? My grades are so so. I make B's and C's only serious answers

- no.
- Yes, American citizens have to pay income taxes even if they're working abroad and not using a dime of American services. It's quite a scam, really.
- You only pay taxes in the country you work in.
- Hell no but knowing Uncle Sam he might take some taxes too
- first of all there is a huge list that u have to go through to get in collage and second u have to pay only one tax that is USA tax u pay dual taxes if u have dual citizen shipand u work and make more than 30000 in both countries u pay Canadian tax when u r a immigrant to canada and if u come as a collage student u work here and make more than 20000 thousand its omplicated if u come here the collage can answer that question
- American citizens living outside the country MUST continue to file tax returns with the IRS. They must declare their total, world-wide income. Now, taxes paid on your income to the foreign nation where you are living are deductable, but that doesn't mean you don't have to file.
