Is it important to know hindi to get government jobs or pass IS?
I need to know whether it is important to know Hindi to appear for government jobs or pass IS? One of my relatives has an option to study hindi, and well people have been saying you must be a 10th pass in Hindi to get government jobs or appear for IS. Please help if you know . . .

- Article 343 of the Indian Constitution recognises Hindi in Devanāgarī script as the official language of central government India. The Constitution also allows for the continuation of use of the English language for official purposes. Therefore, you can assume that, yes, it is very important to know Hindi to get government jobs in India, as well as having an excellent command of English.
- It is not necessary to pass Is or know Hindi to get Government jobs please !!
