assistance says we need to be on the street first can we call if we pay first and last & start getin it after?
ok heres the deal. i am a pregnant teen. i live in ontario. me and my boyfriend are moving out. we dont want to go on government assistance. he can get a job right now and we could survive on that. but he wants to go to night school, which they wont start till next year so he would loose all his work this semester. we dont want that at all. if he waits he can get a job paying almost double the other job... it will just take a few months as he is only turning 17 and it is hard for someone his age to get into this type of job and a relative is willing to get him in. ntm he will be able to finish this semester so he doesnt loose all the work he did. now to do this we will need to go on government assistance for a few months till he gets the job. but everytime we call they jus say to call wen we have the baby... so we saved up first and last... as we have to move out BEFORE the baby is born... but how do we get it after? they wont give us any info about going about it. keep in mind the usa is different and i need canadians to answer...thanks

- Please break up with your boyfriend, put your baby up for adoption, and move home or to grandma's house or somewhere safe. This is a bad, bad idea.
- hun, i never put down pregnant teens but I don't understand why you're leaving your apartment... relying on the government is just not a good idea. don't you have family you can stay with? maybe offer to pay rent, but at a cheaper price so you can save up money? you obviously don't have any idea how much money it costs to raise a child. especially in the first year. i honestly think the best thing for the child would be to put it up for adoption. it's hard, but you are obviously not ready to be a mother. you're young and not financially stable and I just feel like bringing a baby into your life like this would be horrible for the baby. do the best for the child and put it up for adoption. finish school, get a job so you and your boyfriend can raise money and then one day when you guys are financially stable, have health insurance, and don't have to rely on the government or family for money, and get married, then you can have a baby that you can love and nurture and give the best possible life too. i wish you the best of luck and encourage you to think about the future of your child. ♥
