What type of government employment security clearances can you get when you have a foreign spouse?

I know the CIA is pretty much out of the question but is the NSA out as well? Is it all Top Secret clearances or what? thanks employment

1. that all depends on the spouse and where they are from and how easily they can be checked out themselves.
2. It will be difficult and they would have to do a thorough background check on your wife, but it is possible. It also depends on what country she is from, A Mexican or Australian wife is considered less of a risk than a Middle Eastern or Chinese wife.
3. In my day, it precluded any SCI or special program access unless the spouse was a national of the UK, Canada or Australia.
