Federal State and Local Taxes?
Can someone give me a yearly and monthly estimate of money the Federal, Local, and State would take out of a monthly salary of $5204.05, yearly salary of $62,448.6 We will say the job is in Cleveland, Ohio United States. About the withholdings... I am not sure. I am just creating a sample budget. You can provide an example. It doesn't have to be extremely accurate. Just enough so I know the deal. Thank you.

- Federal taxes should be around $11,000. Don't know about Ohio state taxes, in my state it would be about $2400. Of course at tax time you might get $4000 or $5000 back if you have deductions like mortgage, health insurance, charitable gifts. Your state taxes and local property taxes can also be deducted from your federal.
- $10,693 is a reasonable estimate for annual tax liability for federal IF you are single, no dependents and not itemizing. Will be significantly less if you file head of household or married, jointly. State taxes vary by county but 6.5% is representative...or about $4059 a year given your figures. Hope this helps.
