Who else has been TOLD by the government they have to fix their cars due to emissions?

Well, I live in NJ, a blue state lead by an idiot governor who has raised taxes a lot and keeps cutting jobs. I got my car inspected today, 1990 volvo 240 245,990 miles about on it. My car failed emissions, passed CO with flying colors by the nitrous oxide was high. So now I have to get my car fixed or I can't drive it anymore. And I have to use the service centers they tell me, i can't use my mechanic. So now the government tells me how environmentally friendly my car has to be. This is the Liberal ideology. Pretty soon they will be telling us what cars to drive. Oh wait, they are. But it will get worse if these Liberals stay in power. This is what Marxism does, it hurts people like me, college students first, then everyone else.

1. Our "red state" Tennessee has this, also. We can use any certified mechanic. I had to replace the gas cap on my 2002 Subaru, which I purchased as an "emissions exempt" vehicle in Colorado.
2. Just the other day I was reading about some hard working businessman and the government similarly intruding into his business. They send government agents into his restaurant telling him how clean his equipment had to be, telling him that he had to provide employees with a place to wash hands, telling him that he had to sanitize every single glass and dish every time he used it. We need to get government off our backs and just be careful not to eat any food, drink any water, or breath any air. Personal responsibility and all.
