Im trying to look for employment with Environmental companys, WWF, Government?
Whats this field like in South Africa? Im trying to look for employment doing EIAs, working as a field assistant for companys like WWF etc Are there any international or local companies in South Africa that offer employment in those areas? Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks Ive looked in the papers but i have not come across anything yet....just thought i would post this and hopefully get some useful information.

- There is a fair amount of work in that field in SA, but (with a masters degree in ecology) i gave up applying after about a year. Same story every time: "Sir, you are perfect for the job but we HAVE to employ a black person." If your skin tone is dark (and you;re qualified), you will eventually find something. If not, good luck.
- I have to agree with Vango, if you are not black you will not get a job....Pity we need qualified people like you here
