Job History Question?
Hi. I was curious to know if there was a federal site (or something like that) where I can look up all of my prior employers? Its been a long time since I worked outside my home. I have been a stay at home mom for most of the last 12 years. Now that my girls are getting older I would like to find employment but not sure if I qualify for ANYTHING anymore. I cant seem to remember some of the dates and prior employers that I had, and don't want to try and create a resume with the wrong information. Please Help. Thank you so much for your time..

- Not really. You can contact the Social Security administration (www.ssa.gov) and they will have some info, but not exact dates nor anything to do with titles, etc. They charge for each year you are looking for. The IRS only has the info IF you filed income taxes for those years, again they charge for the info. Why don't you just write down all that you remember and call up the companies yourself asking for employment verification? (Act like you are an employer for another company). See if they even still have access to your records, I would bet most don't have the actual dates, etc. Good luck to you.
