How can anyone be pro-illegal immigrant?

How is it possible to firstly advocate criminal activity- whether it be a Federal Offence- including smuggling, trespassing, their employment etc. 2- how to ignore the facts. They are mainly undocumented- thus they have no tax number-thus they pay no tax=> THUS they make no input into governmental coffers. Simple. 3- the US National Research Council's study "The New Americans: Economic, Demographic, and Fiscal Effects of Immigration." found Latin American immigrants, were a net cost in terms of taxes paid versus social services received. Crime: 95% of all outstanding warrants for homicide (1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens in LA 66% of felony warrants (17,000) are for illegals aliens. Hispanics accounted for 46% of all gang members. Amnesty, has been tried in both an industrial-strength version in 1986, and in more limited doses ever since — and it was a clear total failure. The Mexican government even reported 68% of Mexicans entering US are illegal, 55% use coyotes

  1. Given seriousness of our countries financial security how can anyone be in-favor of any immigration! Our Gov't at work since 1985 with increased Immigration! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5871651411393887069 Or just google 'Immigration Gumballs'
  2. I totally agree with you. Too bad our Politicians do not feel the same. I call it a total SELL OUT of OUR COUNTRY.
  3. Im not pro or con...I simply dont feel it is even in the top ten issues facing this country we have a 9 trillion dolar debt.....five years at war....... a dollar worth 60 cents and falling......billions a day leaving this country paying for inflated oil...... a housing meltdown...a mortgage meltdown...47 million unisured 20 million immigrants are the least of my worries
  4. I don`t think we should turn them away from hospitals because they are still human. I don`t blame the illegals I blame the Americans that hired them and gave them the motivation to come here in the number that they do. We need to jail the American employers and take their company and use the profits to bust the next illegal employer. We have a illegal American employer problem not a illegal worker problem.
  5. Generally speaking, most people aren't pro-illegal anything. What you seem to be talking about is people who believe the immigration law should be changed. This is much like people (myself included) who believe now illegal drugs should be legalized. It isn't that we support illegal activity, it is that we support making that activity legal. As for immigration, there are some people who believe that there should be no restrictions on immigration at all, and would deny that the government has any authority to regulate it. Paraphrasing something I've heard before, "there is no such thing as nations, only 6.5 billion people floating around on a giant ball."
  6. I'm sorry dear asker, but I have to agree 100% with "ohiofirefighter42" right now !!
  7. Beats the sh!t out of me... Is there a candidate, aside from Romney, who cares enough about our country to send illegals back without worrying about offending criminals... ?
  8. You're cherry picking facts and using them to paint all illegal aliens with the same negative brush. You're also wrong about no illegals paying taxes. I know illegal aliens that do. Many employers deduct taxes from their illegal alien employees. However the employee doesn't file a tax return because they are afraid of being reported to immigration.
  9. To the two who do not think it is important because they feel we have more important issues like our national budget problems, they must be blissfully unaware of the huge cost of illegal immigration when benefits are extended to them for things they did not pay into the system for. I have no problem with humanitarian help like with emergency care at hospitals or public schools for the kids, but beyond that, they should not be able to receive welfare, public aid like food stamps or social security benefits. If they can work, then work. Do not come here and have a hand out for governmental help. Period.
  10. The only illegal immigrant I have any sympathy for is the refugee. But even here games are played and I feel that if they want shelter they should become directed labour (not slave labour) paid the going rate for the job. This would mean that they may well find themselves working in places which many would not wish to work in remote areas. If genuine they would be glad to do so if not they would find that things were not to bad at home
  11. When marches are scheduled in support of illegal aliens would it be appropriate to have one in support of tax evaders, sex offenders or both as a sign of criminal activism solidarity?
