Traffic Maintenance Worker/Highway Maintenance Worker?
does anyone know how much get paid? living in NJ...also, is chance of increase. it's a government job, right?

- Some States hire sub-contractors to do the actual maintenance and traffic control. You should check with the New Jersey Department of Transportation to find out if sub-contractors are used or not. If the NJDOT does hire direct, it would be considered a State job. You would get increases based on steps within your grade and COLA provided the Governor of the State approves step increases and COLA adjustments.
