I am 69 and have been receiving federal workmens comp. for 10 years, can I receive social security also.?
My doctor stated that the federal government should have put me in retirement many years ago. I have 10+ years of federal service before I was injured on the job. Even through I am 69 I have never applied for SS. If I applied for SS the wokmens comp. benefit would be reduced by that amount. How much longer will I be able to receive workmans comp ? Where do I go from hear. I can not find out anything regarding this matter from the government. Do you know where I can get answers to my problems ?
