if i made 10K babysitting, paid 1400 in federal self employment tax, and have 3 kids, will I get the rebate?
i am talking about the rebate that bush is giving. i am asking if my self employment tax i paid counts, so that I get it too. I am hoping someone that is a tax expert will know

- You will have earned income credit for the kids for sure!
- Self employment tax is non-refundable. However, 1/2 Self Employment tax is deductible to your gross income. Actually you will probably end up O-taxable income since you have 3 dependents. You will be entitled to get EIC(Earned Income Credit).
