The US government is wasting 1 Trillion dollars a year?

A recent Reader's Digest article explains how the US government is wasting 1 trillion...TRILLION...dollars a year...one third of the total budget. How does this concern you as a taxpayer with all the looming problems with health care, social security, schools, infrastructure, economy, jobs, etc... Will the upcoming elections make you ask tough questions of our leaders concerning this problem and responsible, direct solutions for it? 2. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS. I SEE PEOPLE HOMELESS EVERYDAY ON THE STREETS OF RALEIGH, NC. MONEY SHOULD BE USED TO HELP THESE PEOPLE, AND OUR CHILDREN GET A BETTER EDUCATION AND OUR SENIORS GET BETTER HEALTH CARE.
