Does Affirmative Action apply to private company employment process (in US) too?

I know public government or university have to employ certain numbers of minority. But do private company also have to hire minority?

Yes.Of course it does or there wouldn't be so much animosity over the double-standards by the bulk of US citizens for over 30 years.Peruse any employment section of a newspaper and you'll see the EOE or AA disclaimer on almost every ad.And you see it on the HR corkboards of every company of any size as well.
