Are u the average american the media and US government talk about?
I tend to notice ever time i'm either watching the news or hearing something about what congress is going to do to help the average american I start to wonder what average american are they talking about. based on so many factors i can't figure it out 1. Ever state tends to have different levels of unemployment / employment 2. incomes range so much it really depends on your profession 3. since our country has a vast population your either single, married, or some mixed ratio involving kids or no kids 4. Rent tends to vary from city to city, state to state I look forward to any answers you can come up with and i know i'm not one of the average americans i hear the media and government talk about

- I don't think I am as I believe less than half of what they tell me anyway.I have a brain and tend to see through their impossible non-logic.
- Funny because they all have different definitions. According to FOX News, we are, because my parents work 40 and 20 hours per weak, and they earn together twice the GDP, which is unusual because they work 60 hours instead of 80. At the same time, they really don't benefit much from the Bush tax cuts, so according to CNN,we aren't. But I am considered closer to average because I earn about $8,000/year. Interesting because I still cannot find a solid definition from the government. This is one of the best questions so far- way to stimulate our brain waves rather than rant about Hillary or Huckabee.
