In the state of NJ, how far back can a potential employer check your driving record?
This is a non-government job, involves a company car. I checked the DMV website and it seems the records that businesses can order go back 5 years. I ask because I had a DUI 16years ago, clean since. May be possible to get it expunged if I have to, would need to act now. Big job opportunity and I'm just trying to play ot super-safe.
