Why has the US Government not indicted Osama bin Laden for the events of September 11, 2001?

If you go to to the FBI's most wanted terrorists page, Usama (Osama) bin Laden is wanted for an indictment by a federal grand jury in relation to the US Embassy bombings of August 7th, 1998 and is also "suspected" in connection with other terrorist attacks. After 9/11, you'll remember bin Laden and his cronies released a tape confessing to being responsible for 9/11. Yet, if you do a little mouse clicking, you will find out that the FBI has claimed it has "no hard evidence" to connect Usama bin Laden to the 9/11 attacks. If the Bush Administration and the media consider this tape as hard enough evidence to invade Afghanistan, why has the Department of Justice not indicted Usama bin Laden in regards to 9/11? Is there a government cover-up going on? Was the tape a fake? Is the FBI doing their job? ** Intelligent discussion only please. I don't want to have to scroll through 50 'binladen r stupid' or 'bush sucks' comments to get to the real discussion. Thank you. First, I already said in my notes here there is a tape. The question was why the FBI won't consider it as evidence. Is it because it was a fake? Also, Osama bin Laden CAN be indicted for the crime without being caught. They indicted him for the embassy bombings in '98, I'm pretty sure he didn't show up for that hearing either. All it takes is a federal grand jury. So why haven't we?

1. Quite seriously... because the President has admitted that he doesn't consider bin Laden to be a priority.
2. I may be wrong but the defendant needs to be at his indictment hearing or else it could possibly be thrown out.
3. If there was a cover up, we'll never know. I believe that it was bin Laden who financed and supported the tragedy though.
4. charges are brought after the warrant for the arrest is satisfied.. I'd say he has been aptly indicated in the attack and has said so himself through al Jezeera.. that.. conspiracy nuts cannot explain how the arab network links to the CIA
5. The main thing is, is that we cannot find him. It would be like a mailman trying to find the person who the letter is addressed to.
6. To answer your question; Unlike the previous administration who thought of bin Laden as a law enforcement issue, Bush knew it was a military issue. BTW, Osama has admitted to 9/11 in his last tape release.
7. Because as you said they have no real hard evidence to indict him. Also if I remember correctly the tape was actually found inside an Al Queda "safe house" in Afganistan supposedly! I don't think it was ever authenticated because the picture is too grainy!
8. Yes there is a government cover-up going on. Bin Laden denied 9-11 three times. Next, the CIA released the video with the look-alike "Bin Laden" admitting 9-11. The entire U.S. government has been hijacked by Zionist thugs at all levels (White House, Congress, Pentagon, Supreme Court, FBI, CIA, mainstream media, educational system, monetary system). 9-11 was an inside job, no doubt. We are totally under Israel's thumb. Gone are the days of a USA Republic run by the People.
