federal or state government job?
If I am working at a bank what would it be considered? (federal or stov't) What if I am working at a clothign store in the mall? my only options -- 1.other federal employment 2.stet gov't (non-federal employment) 3.other

- For Federal jobs...go to www.opm.gov then go to USAJOBS
- 3. Because you aren't working for the government. You aren't a government employee.
- Banks in the U.S. are not owned by the government, thus neither category applies. #3 is correct for all banking positions www.usajobs.gov is the federal job website
- you work in the private sector. (at both your exaples) if you dont know that, then I would suggest you get more education. how would working at the mall be even close to a govt job? and as said before, the govt regulates, not owns you local bank (unless you work for the fed reserve)
