What if we do nothing about amnesty?

Public Comments

  1. maybe we will get a president who is pro-america and deports them all / sanctions employers of illegals.
  2. Even if you do something, they will delay it, and wait until the conditions are favorable to make it pass... You know those guys know how to play with brains, its their jobs to do so, and they are pretty good at doing it. Since as normal base of the population, I cannot even see them, then they just win the game. And from what I have seen, we are far from being capable to win anything against them... Anyways, they NEED this bill to pass, or else.... (the gov)
  3. Make sure our elected officials enforce laws on the books
  4. The easiest solution is to enforce the laws already in place: 1. Secure the border. 2. Crack down on the employers. End of story.
  5. Even though I've seen Romney lie like no one else, I believe his point during the debate was valid on this issue. "We only need to enforce the laws, we need do nothing (paraphrase)" That's what the term illegal alien means; right?
  6. are you really going to kick out 12 million people. most illegals pay taxes and contribute to the economy. why dont they talk about building a fence on the canadian borders if their so scared about illegals
  7. Well, one thing is for sure. If we can keep the illegals from sucking benefits out of the social security system, yet continue to have their contributions feeding it, it just might survive a little longer. As long as they are working with false social security numbers, they will be unable to collect from the system.
  8. If we do nothing about amnesty then people committing criminal acts will get away with their crime. I hate your vague question.
  9. Without the Amnesty Program, it will be difficult for the illegal aliens to get government benefits such as subsidized housing, loans under Federal programs, and get government jobs (out side of military). But I don’t think it would make any difference when it comes to paying taxes (because many work under the table), getting welfare checks, free medical, free lunches at school, participation in before and after school programs their children, and free college education for those who make it to college.
