What type of business is the biggest employer in your city or town?

- A Big Ten university is the largest employer in my area.

- I live in a major distribution area...All the big name distribution centers are here..the yare all the biggest employer...Ross, Big 5, Walgreens, Lowes and sooo on..they are all here
- Oil and Gas I live in Houston so that is what were are known for.
- Tourism that is all we are our population for 4 or 5 combined towns is only 1000 or so
- retail, financial services,entertainment-film making------ Toronto= Hollywood North
- Chief and Council. I live on a reserve. (So, in turn, that would be the Federal Government of Canada)

- letsee, I'd have to say the university itself, after all this is a college town
- Boeing and Micro Soft.
- I live in Houston, so the big employers here are NASA, the huge Texas Medical Center and of course, petro-chemical industry. Houston has a huge port, so shipping (import and export) is also big..

- The entertainment business is the biggest in my town. I can't figure out why, though. Oh, and I live in Hollywood, CA.
