Finding Washington DC-metro civil service jobs - where do I look?
I live in the metro area of Washington DC and I'd like to apply for government jobs - Federal, state (Maryland or Virginia), county (Montgomery county Maryland or surrounding). I'm not sure how to start looking. I'd appreciated any links. I'm college educated, computer literate, and type 70 wpm. I'm specially interested in Administrative Assistant, Accounts Payable, and office support positions. Links, please, to any sites that will help me find open positions and instructions on applying.

- www.usajobs.opm.gov. that is how i got hired. there are different programs that you can enter as admin & then move to officer positions. career entry or program assistant jobs come to mind. good luck.
