I have two jobs: one in MO and one in KS. I already filed my federal return and MO State return. MO is my...
state of residency. I still need to file a non-resident return for KS. Does anyone know of somewhere I can do this online for free? I need something specific, ok? Not just irs.gov. I work for the IRS, so I do know at least that much...

- GO to freetaxusa.com I am not sure you have to be in the same state to file on there. They have a few guidelines, but I use it every year and although I haven't had the issue with being in a different state from my job, I have had some complex issues but was still able to file. It never hurts to try!
- Try this website: https://www.accesskansas.org/ssrv-webfile/index.html
- You can probably do it online somewhere, but you've already messed up by filing your MO return first. You need to file a KS non-resident return BEFORE you file your MO return. Then you take a credit for the KS taxes paid on your MO return. So, once you file your KS return, you'll need to file an amended MO return and clean that mess up. All of that said, what do you do for the IRS?? I hope it's not anything to do with taxes or we're ALL in trouble!
