State v.s Federal...?
I currently hold a state job which is very flexible and gives me plenty of Family time, Im thinking of the possibility of going over to a federal Job ie: DEA can anybody in this position tell me what are some of the pros and cons...? family time...? is it worth it or will I regret it....?

- Depends upon what you want. If you looking for a special agent job the DEA is a very rewarding career, and it pays far better than most state and local LE jobs. But expect to move, most likely to Florida, or SW US. Although any major metro area along the border or coast is also a good possibility. If your a looking for an administrative job then a move won't be required and the pay and benefits usually exceed that of most state governments.
